New and Improved Dad, Now With More Pep!
Boy, what a difference a little catheter makes. You’d think that it was the cancer bumming him out all those months, but after he got the catheter removed, it was as though Dad was one reborn.
He’s got a genuine bounce in his step, an energy that has been sorely lacking, and a rejuvenated interest in cooking again. I swear, it’s as though somebody reached in there and rewired him! He’s positively perky! Plucky! Almost, dare I say, healthy!
Apparently having a medical device tied to one’s goods make one less than oneself. And getting it removed makes one more. So even though he’s got just a smidge of cancer in there (okay, a lot), it doesn’t seem to matter much: more important is that he’s been liberated from dragging around an external medical device. He has been released, oh Lord, he has been released!
So if you come to visit soon, you will be impressed at how a little cancer (okay, a lot) doesn’t seem to be slowing him down any. What a relief! I foresee a great interest in stumping through museums and gardens for the foreseeable future. What a nice, nice thing.
