I just had a visit from a friend who works in animation. A competitor of her company is the maker of Veggie Tales, the unlikely cartoon series that utilizes vegetables as the protagonists of their Christian morality tales.
One of the animators she used to work with kept a plush Veggie Tales character on his desk as a joke. You know, pull the string, it talks…
It was a cucumber. It said, “I love you, Jesus!”
As my friend aptly observed, “It’s things like this that keep the Freudians going.”
